I have been up in Chicago visiting family for a week, and the weather cooperated to allow me to go flying New Years Day. One of the local airports has an RV-8 with a LODA that does some training. Since I have a fair amount of RV time in my Dad's -7, I was able to get some tandem RV time and complete a flight review. The winds started to pick up later in the morning, but the air was smooth, and the sky was clear.
