My dad was in for Thanksgiving, and he brought the motivation to get back working on the canopy.
We lifted the canopy off and on about a half dozen times. We focused the cutting on the front of the canopy, but found when we clamped the back the gap at the front of the canopy got pretty big.
We really needed to clamp the entire canopy each time before we made a cut we had to live with it and figured we could fix it with the fairing.
We couldn't really do much about it at this point, so it was time to make the big cut.
After the cut, the windscreen fell into place pretty well, so I felt much better about it.
It will still need some cleanup work, but it fits pretty well.
