Welcome to Matt's RV Build Log. I am embarking on building my own airplane. The picture on the left is actually my Dad's RV-7 that he built while I was in college. One of the requirements for building your own aircraft is documenting the build process to prove you actually built it. I hope to accomplish this with this site.

ABOUT MATT'S RV PROJECT

In January 2019, I relocated from the Chicago suburbs to Asheville, NC. In addition to moving away from most of my extended family, I lost access to the aforementioned RV-7. In July 2019 I bought a barely started Van's RV-8 project.
