Today, I cleaned up and stored the completed surfaces in a safe place away from the hands of small children. The horizontal stabilizer is hanging on the wall, and the remaining surfaces are stored away on a shelf.
One thing I identified that I would like to fix is the leading edge of the LH elevator, the rolled skin needs to have the edge bent slightly to prevent the skin from puckering between rivets. This will require drilling out several pulled rivets.
I also spent some times organizing the tool set that I purchased with the kit. I definitely have enough air drills…
My next step will be finishing my work bench build so I can get started on the remaining elevator and trim tab.
