I took the time here to assemble the trim servo to the cover. I match drilled the two brackets, then deburred dimpled and riveted as required,
Aligning brackets for match drilling. After installing the servo correctly, I clamped the brackets in place, then removed the servo and reinstalled it to align the other end of the brackets
Here is the servo after assembly. Fasteners are not torqued, as the assembly will need to come back apart for paint one day. After the elevator and trim tab are complete, I will install and temporarily adjust the pushrod.
I also did some brief woodworking to prepare to fold the tabs at the trim tab cutout. I used a chunk of oak flooring that I ripped the tongue and groove off of to have square edges. When I fold the tabs, i will move the clamped assembly to the end of the bench.
