My truck has a bunch of rust spots on it, but this one by the driver's door keeps catching my pant leg, so I decided to do something about it instead of putting holes in my work pants.
I knocked all of the loose rust off with a wire wheel in a dremel, then sanded enough to feather the edge of the paint a little.
I wiped it down with acetone, and masked off things I didn't want overspray on.
Then I painted over the spot with a rust converting primer and let it dry.
