I bought a set off lightly used trombone exhaust pipes from someone on VAF. Happy birthday to me. I will get them cleaned up and put on the shelf.
I am using a set of channels on the making gear bolts this prevents the heads from rotating and allows the gear bolts to be retourqed by one person.
Here you can see the bolts sticking through.
Both gear legs in place.
Here are the covers and vent ends this looks fancier then the van's solution, which is just a cut piece of tubing . It makes the covers harder to remove, and I will probably need to add a couple of additional fasteners.
