After peeling the vinyl off of the new skin, I re-drilled and de-burred the skin. Then, I got back to dimpling, being careful not to repeat the same mistake. I also flipped the die set around, so that the other half of the skin hung off of the edge of the workbench. This was much easier to manage.
Here is the skin all dimpled and ready for riveting.
I also started back riveting one side of the elevator. I realized I was missing the 3/32" shop head gauge, so I ordered one from Spruce, and stuck to measuring them to check the size of the head.
