Finishing fuselage drilling

I wrapped up drilling the fuselage today. The first step was fitting the tailwheel bracket. I have actually done this before on my dad’s-7 when it was still a -7A. It was much easier on an unfinished aircraft.

I traced the template onto a piece of tracing paper.

Then I taped the template to the skin and drilled the small radius with a unibit, before cutting the rest on the bandsaw.

I had to adjust it slightly after the first cut, but Parker came out for a quick ride.
