I started today by comping my rode ends in place to locate the hinges. I intend to keep the rod ends narrower than the hinge brackets, since it will allow me to adjust with washers.
My current plan is to add nut plates and a doubler to the piece of angle to allow my hinge brackets to be removable. I just drilled thes small for now. This also will give me some adjustability by shimming the hinge brackets out if I need to. I will be able to adjust the rod ends out as well.
